Marie-Ange in the community

Listening. Connecting. Serving Ward 6.

Marie-Ange is meeting residents, community leaders and local business owners throughout Stittsville. These conversations are helping shape a campaign grounded in the experiences and priorities of Ward 6 residents.

Meet Marie-Ange

A practical plan for Ward 6

Six priorities shaped by what residents are living every day.

For me, Stittsville First means safer neighbourhoods, responsible growth, strong local businesses, responsible taxes and more housing choices, with practical support and stronger connections for people at every stage of life.

01Safety

Safer Neighbourhoods

I will support safer streets and school zones, better crossings, thoughtful traffic calming, reliable emergency readiness and neighbourhood design that helps everyone move around with confidence.

02Growth

Responsible Growth

I will work for infrastructure-first planning so roads, transit, sidewalks, parks, recreation, drainage, health access and community services keep pace as Stittsville grows.

03Local economy

Thriving Local Businesses

I will support the shops, restaurants, services and entrepreneurs that give Stittsville its character, including practical help through growth, construction disruption and changing local needs.

04Affordability

Taxes & Housing

I will bring a careful, value-for-money approach to City spending and property taxes while supporting practical housing choices that meet changing needs and respect the character of our neighbourhoods.

05People

Support for Youth, Seniors & Families

I will advocate for accessible recreation, community programs, health connections, food security and local services that help young people, seniors, caregivers and families thrive.

06Belonging

Community Connection

I want residents across every neighbourhood and background to feel heard, informed and connected, with more opportunities to participate and help shape decisions that affect Ward 6.

Listening comes first

I want to begin by listening—hearing what residents are carrying, hoping for and asking of City Hall—and bring those voices forward with care and consistency.
